Sam is a 80 lbs Mastiff cross, approx. 7 years old, spayed female. She is a very smart, fast learner, sweet and loving dog who bonds quickly with people. She is house trained, does not chew on furniture and can spend time alone if need be. Because she was neglected for years and never trained to properly socialize with other dogs, she has issues when it comes to sharing space with other dogs or cats in the same household. She needs a strong willed dog lover person/family willing to put some work into the relationship & a home without other pets. She becomes VERY attached and possessive of her guardian, which makes her a great companion & protector, but creates problems when other dogs are around. She would be a great partner for an outdoor person or runner since she loves long walks and little runs. We would help with the transition as well as pet sitting for her whenever needed.
