Duration of Employment: Permanent Full-Time
Probation Period: 3 months
Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Mon- Fri)

(There may be slight variations depending on performance, experience, etc.)
Main Job Duties:
- Various aspects of receiving, stocking, and releasing product, both physical and desk (paperwork) work. (There will be a need to pick up, drop off product to / from air cargo locations.)
- Supply chain management including vendor negotiations, shipment arrangement, preparation, paperwork, follow up
- Reporting, invoice checking, costing comparison and analysis, etc.
- Work site and equipment maintenance arrangement, clean up
- Arrangement of inventory and storage facilities (includes outside storage facilities), both physical and desk work management
- Meeting, communicating with outside vendors, government agencies, company affiliates and personnel
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to communicate well in English: both verbal and written communication
- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills to related stakeholders (inner and other Departments, customers, vendors, and transportation service providers
- Detailed oriented/accuracy
- Quick learner and self starter under minimal supervision
- Multi tasking skills and computer skills (MS-Office)
- A valid driver license
- Able to lift up to 60 lb
- Able to work under -20 degree Celsius for a short period of time (5 mins to 30 mins)
- Able to or learn to operate electronic stand narrow aisle forklift and electronic hand jack
- Able to speak and/or understand Japanese, and/or understand Japanese culture would be an asset
- The candidate that has the potential / capabilities to eventually supervise our department and people, negotiate with outside vendors, etc. will be preferred.
