Nanny - Homekeeper

Looking for a full-time live-in nanny to provide care to a 1 year old baby.

 

This includes preparing food and feeding baby, attending to the baby’s personal needs (bathing, diapering, dressing etc.) and putting baby down to sleep.

 

You will also assist in understanding baby’s developmental stage and planning baby’s routine and care accordingly (e.g. progressing baby to toilet training, teaching baby to feed self, etc) and create opportunities to stimulate the baby’s development through age appropriate play activities and attending play programs (such as play and music class) and general outings (park, play groups) with the baby Household responsibilities include:

 

Managing the home environment during the day such as laundry, cleaning, garbage disposal, meal preparation, etc. Running errands required to maintain the home with the appropriate equipment and supplies - such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, etc.

 

The appropriate person for this role has 3+ years of child care experience including caring for infants/toddlers and is interested in a long-term position. 

 

Training in First Aid and CPR training preferred as well as Food Safe course.

 

You must be outgoing, warm, well-organized, responsible and love children.

 

Occasional travel with family and overtime - evenings or weekends as needed.

 

Pay commensurable with experience and qualifications.
